Dulcineas on the Mic: Ultimate and Women’s Sports
This past October 11th, a few Dulcineas chatted about ultimate, women’s sports, and Q+D on the podcast A la vuelta de la esquina. María, Marina, and Paula were live in the studio, and Irene joined them by phone. Q+D at Mixed Beach Regionals
On the weekend of October 26-27, the mixed team of Quijotes and Dulcineas competed in the Central Zone Mixed Beach Ultimate Regionals, where 4 spots were up for grabs for First Division Beach Ultimate Nationals and 6 for Second Division Beach Ultimate Nationals.

And so, 13 Quixotes led by Don QAlvarito of Madrid set off toward the first-ever World Beach Ultimate Club Championship (WBUCC), held from October 14 to 19, 2024, in Portimão, Portugal. The championship took place on Rocha Beach, prepared with 20 fields, 2000 athletes, over 30 countries, and 3 divisions (open, mixed, and women).
The 22-23 Season Begins!
After a relaxing (and almost-back-to-normal) summer break, we’re back! We’re excited about the new season in which we’ll continue with our core focuses: competing at the highest level possible as a team, helping our players develop individually, and teaching and spreading the sport of Ultimate around the Community of Madrid.
