In mid-June, Móstoles once again became the epicenter of Spanish ultimate with the celebration of the Spanish Ultimate Championships Open and Women 2025, organized by Quijotes + Dulcineas for the second year in a row. It was an event to remember: the Madrid club took center stage with a double podium finish and a double Spirit of the Game award, reaffirming its place among the elite.

Quijotes, three-time Spanish champions and ticket to Worlds

The Open squad reaffirmed its national dominance with an impeccable tournament. After defeating Diskolaris in the semifinal (15–8), they reached the final against Krakens FCB, whom they overcame 15–10 in a thrilling battle. With this victory, Quijotes now holds three consecutive Spanish Championships on grass, adding to the beach title won earlier this season.

The icing on the cake was their direct qualification for the 2026 World Ultimate Club Championships in Limerick (Ireland), where they will represent Spain in the top international club competition.

Dulcineas, bronze for the second year in a row

The Dulcineas once again stepped onto the national podium after repeating the third-place finish achieved in 2024. After falling in the semifinal against Sharks (8–15), the team showed character and resilience to defeat Tramuntana in the bronze medal match (14–13).

It is the second consecutive year on the podium for the women’s team, consolidating its status among the best in the country, but also leaving a clear goal for next season.

Quijotes B, growth with recognition

The second Open team also delivered a strong championship after being crowned Second Division champions last year and thus earning a place in First Division. In this CEU, they stood out with key lower-group victories, such as the 15–12 over Inmortales and a nail-biting 14–13 against Disckatus, which allowed them to finish in fifth place and secure their spot in the top division for another year.

In addition, the two men’s teams, Quijotes and Quijotes B, tied for first place in the Spirit of the Game award, proving that the Q+D project is growing just as strongly in sportsmanship as it is in competition.

Q+D Pride

With a gold in Open (third in a row), a bronze in Women (second in a row), the double SOTG, Quijotes B securing their place in First Division and qualification for WUCC 2026, the CEU 2025 proved that Quijotes + Dulcineas is going through one of the brightest moments in its history.

Beyond the results, the event was also special because the club once again hosted in Móstoles, showing that Q+D is growing both on and off the field.

Congratulations to all the teams and thanks to everyone who made it possible!
